Summit remains the foremost opportunity for foundation executives, FFE Board Members, and FFE Alliance Partners to spend dedicated time among peers. Summit curriculum is focused on executive-level fundraising and leadership. This year’s gathering will take place at The Cape in Cabo San Lucas Monday, January 25–Thursday, January 28, 2027.

Foundation executives representing non-FFE member organizations can attend the Summit for an additional $200 (invoiced following registration). To avoid the fee, contact FFE Executive Director Will Foran to learn more about FFE membership and how to take advantage of the member rate!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I RESERVE MY ROOM?
- Room reservations/booking will be managed by FFE staff and the hotel will accept credit card for payment upon check-in.
- Check-in/check-out dates will be identified in the registration process and confirmed in pre-conference communication.
- Roommate requests can be made through registration.
All reservation requests and changes must be completed by December 15. The Cape does not allow any cancellations 30 days prior to the event without full financial penalty. Attendees assume responsibility for the charges incurred for their reservation as confirmed through the registration process.
WHAT ARE THE ROOM RATES?
- Deluxe King Ocean View: $409.00++
- Deluxe Queen/Queen Ocean View: $469.00++
Pre- and post-nights at The Cape will be $100 more on top of the above standard FFE room rates. This applies to the three days preceding and the three days following the program, subject to hotel availability (i.e. King room for early arrival will be $509++ per night).
The Guest Room Rates are quoted exclusive of any applicable taxes which are currently 16.00% VAT, 4.00% Occupancy Tax and $33.68 pesos per night Baja California Sur Environmental Tax (approximately $1.67 USD). In addition to Guest Room Rates above, there will be a daily service charge of 15% per room, per night, which includes: bellman, housekeeping and valet parking gratuities.
WHAT KIND OF PROGRAMMING CAN I EXPECT?
The intimate environment of Summit allows executives to step away from the chaos of the day-to-day and focus on the strategy behind their important work with their peers. Program speakers may include university presidents or advancement leaders, nonprofit consulting firms and other industry leaders.

What is the refund policy?
Registrations are transferable at any time prior to the event. Cancellations made 30 days or more in advance of the event will result in a registration refund of all but a $50 processing fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days but more than 10 business days in advance will result in a registration refund of 50%. Cancellations made less than 10 business days in advance of the event are non-refundable. For refunds that are equal or less than $50, a credit will be placed on the account for future FFE event registrations or billing.
